Scientific knowledge and field-specific expertise in universities and corporate management are the intellectual foundation of ITG. The engineers in the ITG team have been selected to develop the technological ideas the industry needs for the business of the future: young minds, devoid of historical constraints, can tap into the intuition that generates innovative ideas. Moreover, we strongly believe that the synergy between ITG and businesses is the place where the best solutions are created. In a nutshell, an open approach and an analytical view are what enables us to have a comprehensive view of production feasibility.
Companies entrusting ITG with a project need to be able to know and follow the creation and production of technological innovations every step of the way. Our operational timeline makes us entirely independent in the work, while at the same time allowing the client to be abreast of the developments at all times.
The incubation of ideas, the creative phase that can be defined as the conception of ideas, where the topic is analysed in depth and all possible options are brainstormed and evaluated.
When ideas turn into solutions, the shift from concept to object. The product is generated on virtual tools (CAD 3D, drawings, etc.), and materials, technologies and processes are mapped out.
The idea is analysed from a scientific and numerical perspective, and all required virtual validations are carried out, such as kinematic, dynamic, and resistance analyses. This step runs parallel to the development phase in terms of timeline.
Sometimes virtual analysis still requires a tangible validation, which in turn requires prototypes with varying degrees of fidelity, in order for the necessary tests to be carried out on them.
Once the idea has been validated and has gone through all tests, the industrialization phase begins. Every production process is taken into consideration, every possible problem is analysed, and all required tools are drafted and designed (moulds, templates, calibres, etc.).
The economic assessment of the proposal, including the investment and the costs for the final product, plays a pivotal role in the industry.
If necessary, all required certifications are requested and submitted before production begins. If the idea is proved new and innovative in its own right, the procedures for intellectual property protection are put in place, up to patents being deposited at various levels of internationalisation.
