Scientific and disciplinary competence in universities and corporate management are the intellectual credit on which ITG is based. The ITG engineering team was selected to think of technological ideas that the industry is looking for for the businesses of the future: if minds are young and free from historical constraints, intuition gives rise to innovative ideas. Furthermore, we strongly believe that the collaboration between ITG and the company is the source from which the best solutions arise. In summary, an open approach and an analytical gaze allow us to fully evaluate production feasibility.
It is essential for the company that entrusts a job to ITG to know and follow the creative and productive process of technological innovations at 360°: our operational timeline makes us autonomous and at the same time in close harmony with the company which is always updated on work in progress.
It is the idea incubation phase. the creative moment which we can also call the ideation phase in which the theme is analyzed and through various brainstorming. All possible ideas are analyzed on the table.
Phase of transformation of the idea into a real solution: from concept to object. The detail is generated on a virtual level (3D CAD, drawings,…), materials, technologies and processes are defined.
The developed idea is analyzed from a scientific and numerical point of view and all the necessary virtual validations such as kinematic, dynamic and resistance analyzes are performed. This is a phase that, in terms of timeline, is parallel to the development phase.
Sometimes virtual analysis requires real validation. For this reason, prototypes are set up at various representative levels to carry out the necessary tests for the final validation of the project.
Once the idea has been validated and all the tests have been passed, it is possible to move on to the industrialization phase. All production processes are taken into consideration, manufacturing problems are analysed, the necessary equipment is studied and designed (moulds, masks, gauges,..)
One of the most important aspects for the industry is the economic evaluation of the proposal: investment cost for the creation and costs of the final product.
Before putting into production, if necessary, all the relevant certifications are requested and produced. If the idea proves to have characteristics of novelty and innovation, the procedures for the protection of intellectual property are put in place up to the filing of patents at various levels of internationalization.
